Everything was just as advertised. Clean, spacious and well equipped. Instructions for arrival, appliances, heating and for checking out were all spot on. Offroad parking and location were ideal.
Have already recommended to family and friends. There wasn't anything to dislike. Everything was ideal for our needs.

This is a comfy home from home the high standard of the flat finish delivers a cosy experience, the front room picture windows frame the island of Cumbrae perfectly to give wonderful start and end to the day could have sat their all day, the passing of the waverly steamer was an added bonus, the park and gardens to the front of the house offer perfect areas for children, would highly recommend Nothing

This is a wonderful property in an ideal location for walking and exploring. Super comfy beds and everything clean and tidy. We had two teen boys and there was enough room for all of us to be comfortable. Highly recommend! The bathroom rug is too slippy on the floor. Everyone slid on it. Not sure if an alternative rug could be used.

House is updated with new bathrooms and kitchen. Beds couches are comfortable. Has everything needed. Is very spacious, we were 7. Location is walking distance to a supermarket. Is safe and
peaceful. In my opinion back and front yard need a litlle TLC, some trees trimming. Overall, I would choose it again if traveling to the same location.

Lovely flat beautifully furnished. Spotlessly clean, linen looked new.
Has everything you need in the kitchen.
Stunning views out the front windows. Very well located for town. Loads of free parking.
Danny, the host, was helpful and reactive and everything was exactly as expected.
Highly recommend. Nothing we didn't like.

This appartment was everything we needed and more it was spotless well furnished bathroom was lovely .Very central for shops and public transport the view was amazing would highly recommend this apartment The only thing was no slip mat in bath but we were both elderly it is very minor considering the rest of facilities

Birchgate Bothy is a lovely spacious home from home. It has great amenities and four good sized double bedrooms. It's bright and furnished in a modern style. This isn't a criticism but as it's pet friendly, a fence and gate across the bottom of the driveway would insure eager canine explorers don't make their way to the road.

Lovely and spacious house with three bedrooms upstairs and a twin room downstairs — very convenient as we were travelling with elderly parents. Both bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs) were modern and spotless, and the entire place was exceptionally clean.
I also appreciated how easy the heating was to use — something that’s often a problem in other places I’ve stayed. The house has a large, well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room. Check-in was simple via a key box.
There’s a supermarket and a nice pub/restaurant (The Lorne) within walking distance, and communication with the host was easy and friendly. The outdoor space is lovely too (weather permitting!). I would really need to think hard about anything negative. The mattresses were a bit soft for my liking and some kitchen roll in the kitchen would have been great. But other than that, I cannot think of anything 🙂

Beautifully presented house, good sized room with nice outdoor space and views to hills. Short walk to sea or into town. Good location for exploring the Cowal peninsula, Adentinny beach short drive away is lovely.

Communication and checking in/out was very easy and smooth. The house was excellent for us in every respect (facilities, very well maintained, proximity to the town centre, ease of parking etc). Nothing to not like!
